My son gave me a voucher for Mrs Huck&#39;s for Mothers Day. Husband &amp; me used it for a lunch date. Order was taken promptly - a Denver omelette for me and a lamb burger and shoe string fries for my partner. The omelette filling was so tasty - bacon, onion and peppers accompanied by a green salad which was nicely dressed. The best omelette I have ever eaten. Husband enjoyed his lamb burger although he found the serving a little small. Service was very friendly without being overbearing. Mrs Huck&#39;s is in an office area and obviously very popular with the profesionals. We will go back.

My partner and I decided to use our Entertainmentbook voucher for a late breakfast/brunch on a quite busy Saturday. I wanted to go here for a while now so even better that I got nicely surprised by the atmosphere and the lovely food as well as really nice service. We both ordered the Eggs Benedict with salmon and spinach and although we weren&#39;t sure if we could still get breakfast after 12pm, we were super lucky when we got told by the service that wouldnt be a problem! I also ordered a Mango&amp;Blueberry smoothie which was super smooth and arrived promptly. Our meals were superb! perfectly poached eggs, yummy hollandaise on a super fresh bun with very tasty creamy spinach and smoked salmon. one of the best eggs bene we had in the city so far! the service was also super nice. we even got asked if we like to have our drinks before or with the meal, which I have never been asked in a cafe before. I have to say we didn&#39;t even have to go to the counter for ordering as we got served by the table. big plus there! even free water arrived straight after ordering. all in once there was absolutely nothing to fault here! nice atmosphere with all the lovely decorations and the chilled out music in the background. maybe the cabinet food could be improved, looked a bit empty and colourless at stages. this could definitely become a new favourite spot for us :) we will be back!

The atmosphere next to the stove is very good, if the weather is not cold, it is very good to eat outdoors. The restaurant has plenty of parking spaces. If there is no parking space, you can also park the car on the roadside street. The food here was delicious, they forgot one of the antecedents we ordered but then served it with the main course so it wasn&rsquo;t a big problem. Staff was considerate and friendly

We took our chance at this place as the menu here is very attractive and we are really happy just a short walk from our hotel. It is a small brewery with great hamburgers, excellent beer and delightful staff.

It is an old store, the service attitude has nothing to say, the quality of things is also leveraged, the most important thing is that the price is so cost-effective, and I will definitely come often in the future.

My friend and I were the only people there. We thought the menu was very limited, chose banana pancakes and bacon and Bandy eggs, bacon was delicious, but the pancakes tasted like a small bag mix. Two x pancakes, two x coffee.$46.00. Too expensive.

Pizzas are sizeable, reasonably priced and can be split into several different topping options. Pretty good value for money. If you get there early you can find a good spot to watch the races, and there is a small outside area where you can enjoy a beer. Crowds get pretty big on racedays

We went in before a concert and we all really enjoyed our meals. We had a pizza, roast veg salad and the chefs special pork stir fry. All were very tasty, good sized portions and well priced. Thought that the mains &#39;from the grill&#39; were a little over priced. Waitress was very attentive during the meal but as we stayed around for a little while we ended up having to go to the bar for more drinks. All in all a good spot and sure we will head along again.

Found this restaurant in the Entertainment Book and popped in for a quick lunch before the movies. It&rsquo;s not too far from Riccarton Mall so ideal for what we wanted. As the weather was so warm we chose a table outside overlooking the race track. We had a quick look at the menu and the burgers sounded really good so we both ordered the marinated chicken option. I had a coke and he ordered a smoothie. The food didn&rsquo;t take long at all to come out (the place wasn&rsquo;t very busy) and from first impressions it was good value for money. The burgers were a good size and filled with onions, beetroot, pickles, cheese, lettuce and tender chicken portions. I especially enjoyed the buns, they were fresh and soft, and really made a nice burger. The chips were skinny fries and looked rather anaemic, perhaps the oil wasn&rsquo;t hot enough to give them that nice golden brown colour but they still tasted alright though. The food was accompanied by a side portion of very garlicky aioli and it was yum! The smoothie was tasty but it wasn&rsquo;t cold or even cool at all. On a nice hot day like we had you really want something cold to quench the thirst and I think they could have blitzed some ice or used ice cold milk to get it cold. Other than that we had a really nice lunch. We are off to the movies again this weekend so I think we might just pop in to try their pizzas.

We had a light lunch of tea and scones. The scones were reheated in the microwave which is not the greatest. The tea however took 15 minutes to arrive and there was not enough in the pot for two cups or any milk, I requested milk from our waiter which didn&#39;t arrive so spoke to another waitress who put the milk and extra water on the table without a word. A little later the original waiter cruised past and I said the waitress had brought our milk, he was not interested. To be fair they were reasonably busy as the crowd for Mrs Brown&#39;s Boys were eating prior to the show. Maybe our experience was a one off but I won&#39;t go back
